Robert Watkins

Aged 31, Robert is a graduate of the University of Sussex. Following a year of travel, Robert embarked on his professional career working for Asset mangers in London. After initially being accepted on to the graduate scheme for Fidelity Investments, Robert moved to the prestigious Capital group of companies, where he worked with some of the cities most respected professionals as a portfolio control Analyst. During his 5 year financial career, Robert enjoyed work placements in Geneva and Los Angeles which improved his understanding of the global markets.

Robert left the city to pursue the developing prospects of Eastern European real estate in mid 2003. After extensive research and travel through Eastern Europe, Robert relocated to Krakow, Poland as the city which he considered to have the most potential for real estate growth and development in the region. He initially gained his knowledge of the market in Poland by refinancing his London portfolio to purchase and renovate Polish investments. He then turned his interest and knowledge to facilitate foreign investors in buying property in Poland, by setting up Property-Krakow.

Since its establishment in late 2003, Property-Krakow has built a significant database of clients ranging from private investors to international investment funds many of whom have successfully invested in Krakow through its support and services. The company now boasts a broad portfolio of real estate and quality network of tried and tested professionals in Krakow from Lawyers, Property Developers, Real Estate Agencies, Builders, Polish-English translators, Architects, and Financiers, to enable it to comfortably fulfill the requirements of the most demanding of clients. In addition to its activities in real estate consulting, Property-Krakow also has operations in property development through its sister company Property Krakow Development Ltd which will be, over the next few years, redeveloping a Kamienica building in the Kazimierz district of Krakow.

More recently Robert Watkins was featured as a regional professional in writing an article for the ‘2005 Eastern European Buying guide’. Property-Krakow has also been featured in the ‘Holmes Worldwide’ magazine, ‘A Place in the Sun’ magazine and the Irish times newspaper, in addition to being interview by BBC world for research purposes.
