Hamilton May presents a one-of-a-kind apartment with an area of 222 m2 in the heart of the Old Town.

This 222 m2 apartment occupies the entire first floor of a historical tenement house from 1928 designed by Franciszek Mączyński (author of projects including the Palace of Art, the Old Theater, Dom Pod Globusem), it is one of four tenement houses in a row. The apartment has two exposures. On the north side there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a toilet and a kitchen. In the south there is a living room (100 m2), which used to be the ballroom of countess Rózia Łubieńska, where social events of Krakowans took place. The living room has original parquet floors and ceiling decorations, highlighted with the light of Venetian chandeliers. The room is adjoined by the study room. The living room with the office occupy the entire width of the building and is directed towards a green square, which is also decorated with a beautifully highlighted branch of the National Museum. The apartment is completely renovated, all installations have been replaced, original parquet floors and door woodwork have been preserved (with crystal glass). Windows will be replaced in September with high quality, wooden, three-pane inserts in accordance with conservator recommendations. The apartment is decorated by an architect, respecting the preserved details of the interiors, combining the furniture of the period of Krakow modernism with modern furniture and paintings. The whole creates a coherent harmonious arrangement, and the high rooms (3.45 m) are beautifully illuminated from the east to the west. The charm of the living room is added by a balcony decorated with flowers from the south. The second balcony is off of the kitchen.

The tenement building at Plac Sikorskiego, along with its neighbors, was designed by Krakow's architects of modernism in 1928. In recent years, the building has been equipped with a modern elevator.

Plac Sikorskiego is a green square in the city center near Planty and Kolegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University. This quiet and peaceful area of Krakow provides a comfortable place to live close to all major Krakow attractions.
